Family Fare Restaurant in Peabody

This place has been around for a while. Iused to go here some mornings for breakfast before school. The service is always quick. The wait staff is attentive and polite. The food is great. Compared to big chains like IHOP, I prefer this place for its cheaper prices, bigger portions, and cozy atmosphere.

Great food, very clean place; just the waitresses forget the refill and check on the tables and take forever to take an order, it’s been 3 times that I been here, today is cold and wanted a hot cup of coffee, I’m still waiting... so annoying. Maybe more staff is needed.

Always serves the freshest food with a home-cooked taste. It has dependable and gracious servers. And pricing is very fair at Family Fare.

Excellent food. Large portions. Perfectly crisp bacon. The best breakfast!

Good diner if you want cheap, typical American fare. I opted for the Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. It was decent, though the strawberries were still thawing from the freezer. My coffee was never refilled, and the waitress did not bring us water. It's usually packed with senior citizens, and can feel crowded if you get stuck at a center table instead of a booth. Go here if you want standard diner food on a budget, but don't expect much service-wise. That said, it's a great place to bring the kids.

Food is homemade, it’s ok, quick. This last visit was disappointing due to confusion and bad service at a larger table. They were more attendant in the past visits, we used to come for breakfast every other week. Will skip out next time.

I️m only giving this place one star because that’s the lowest I️ can give. I️ can’t say how the food was because it took so unreasonably long that we left before it was served. We walked right in and was seat within 10 minutes. We waited over 25 minutes for anyone to come over for drinks and we ordered right away. After an hour and a half and still not received our food or seen our waitress (who was quite rude) since ordering, we left. We will not be back

I live for their lamb shank dinner, but other menu items are also great. True Greek cuisine. I am heart sick that they have changed their hours and no longer serve dinner. Seems they are focusing on breakfasts, but I can go anywhere for that.

We were not greeted when we walked in. The staff was very rude ! I will not be going there anytime soon. If you have kids I highly recommend you not going to this place unless you want dirty looks and rude under breath comments!

Nice place, but tired. Needs renovation. Food is good and staff is friendly and helpful. New hours are disappointing...closes at 3pm every day now.

Portions are huge. The food is always fresh. Feels like you're eating from home. The staff is very very polite and welcoming. Again it feels like you're eating a meal from home.

The breakfast was good but kind of generic, it is a cozy little diner. The service was great ,fast and friendly.

I was excepting great service, as I have been there previously and the waitress came immediate over and confronted someone in my party on another bad review she received. I could see why, the waitress was rude, impatient and should not be working in this industry. Complaining why did someone write a terrible review about her about a week before. I will not return to this restaurant.

This is another hidden gem. Looks like a hole in the wall, but has well prepared meals that are comforting and can be healthy if you choose to go that way.I have only been here for breakfast, which provides ample servings of the usual fare. They also have a great fresh fruit cup.Lunch menu looks good, and is doubtless also well prepared.Service is excellent, and the place is warm and inviting inside. Very popular with the locals, and definitely family-friendly!

Its not very good I never get my coffee and the food is cold The sausage and pancakes are burnt its not good I used to like your restaurant I'll have to be going elsewhere sorry

The food was good. The portions are big. The waitress was Ok. She came right away and took our order. The food came out really fast. My 4 yr commented that was fast Mom!! Then I NEVER saw her again. My drink was empty. Thankfully someone else noticed and refilled it. The decor is dated but fine. The place is good and close to my house. We might go again. I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

This is where I go when I want great family style food for a reasonable price. The portions are generous and the bill is small. The kebab salads are enormous and the chicken or veal parms with eggplant are my staples, - can't be beat.

The pricing is good, the food quality is good and most of all the wait in line usually isn't horrible. Nothing worse than a hungry Saturday morning and having to wait an hour. I have had everything from eggs to tuna melts all good quality.

Public rooms not clean consistently over the years. It gas prevented myself and others from frequently dining there. Their food is good too so it is too bad!

My family and I went for breakfast this morning and I have never had such horrible service in my life. The waitress we had was downright nasty, impatient and rude. We had several elderly people in our group and all I can say is I hope that no one ever treats her family like she did mine. We will never return.
